About made for more

September 17 – November 26

We all know the routine: wake up, eat breakfast, drive to work or school, put in our time, drive home, eat dinner, watch TV, go to bed, and do it all over again the next day. Insert a trip to the mountains, the movie theater, or a church building every so often, and that’s life on a sheet of paper.

But what if you were Made for More? A lot more than this?

Whether you’ve been a Christ-follower for a long time or you’re brand new to all of this, our hope and prayer throughout the next ten weeks of this series is that we’ll begin to live bigger, God-sized stories, dream God-sized dreams, and discover how we were made for more.

In order to do that, we’ve created a ten week reading plan that will take us through a portion of the New Testament. We believe that one of the best ways to grow as people and in our relationships with God is to spend regular time reading the Bible. So our whole church, including kids, and middle school and high school students, will dig into God’s Word together this fall.

As we continue in this series, we pray that you’ll find that you were made for more, and that following Jesus is far more rewarding than anything else you could possibly devote your life to!

reading plan

This fall, from September 18 through November 24, our entire church will be following a reading plan that will take us through eight books of the New Testament, including John, Acts, Romans, Philippians, James, 1 Peter, 1 John, and Revelation. Throughout the 10 weeks of the plan, we will read two chapters each day, five days a week.

Follow along by purchasing a Made for More journal for $5 in the lobby on a Sunday morning. You can also view the reading plan on our mobile app by tapping on the Bible button or by downloading this PDF copy.

Ask a Question

The Bible can be confusing. While we encourage you to take the first shot at reading and interpreting the passages that you’re reading on your own, we want to be a resource to you.

If you have a question about something you’re reading, or if a question came up during your Growth Group that you’d like us to address, submit your questions here and we’ll periodically answer some of the most frequently submitted questions.

Additional Resources

As you’re going through the reading plan, here are some additional resources that will help you to understand and apply what you’re reading.

NIV Study Bible

A good study Bible can be incredibly helpful as you seek to understand what each passage means and how to apply it to your own life. We recommend this one.

Video Summaries

The Bible Project has put together short video summaries of each book of the Bible. As we begin each book in the reading plan, check out the respective video for a helpful overview of some of the main points and themes in that book.
